What Age Is Recommended For A Child To Do Weight Training Like Barbels And Dumbells?
I have a child of 10 years doing competitive swimming. Do not do strength training. When should I do for him weightraining with dumbbells and barbells? At what age should you start doing weights?

Teen years. So, high school.
Before that, his bone structure + tendons/ligaments just aren’t mature enough to handle actual weight training.
Give him at least 3 years (I’d say not until 16, even) or so, and by then his body will be ready for it. Plus, he’ll be producing ample amounts of testosterone by then, and the weight training will have far more effect.
