Is There A Recommended Way To Dispose Of Steak And Cutlery Knives Once Replaced?

Can I put the knives new in box 'and secure with duct tape, but there is a possibility that will be put in contact with and injure someone. Is there a standard / recommended way to do this?

I make a little sleeve out of a piece of light cardboard, and cover the entire blade. Then I give them to a local charity for people who don’t have any knives. Knives can be sharpened and used over and over.

Put them in a garbage bag and wrap it in tape….like wrap and wrap and wrap it until they knives cant come through the tape!!!

I recommend you just close your eyes, and throw them as hard as you can into a random direction.
